Obama and ISIS

Obama has announced a strategy for dealing with ISIS.  Critics are picking at it but at least it is a strategy.  A high majority of people think it is not enough yet 55% are opposed to using ground troops.  I don't know the correct action and have criticized the President for not having a strategy for dealing with ISIS and taking too long to act.  At this point, though, most of the American public opposes a full-out war.

All of the experts in government from Obama to the military agree that ISIS is a direct threat to the homeland.  In fact, ISIS itself has openly declared war on all Americans.  This justifies some kind of response.  Mr. Obama's restraint at this point does not constitute a failure to act.

I don't like to see war.  War is a terrific strain on our military families.  The human cost of injures, PTSD, and deaths is something that should be viewed as terrible and avoided wherever possible.   War is also bad for business. Having said all of this, let's get behind the Administration's plan and hope for the best.  Criticism is fine, the plan looks weak, but let's at least give the support requested by Mr. Obama and see this through. Many are arguing that the plan will fail but until and unless it does, let's see this out.
